Kitchens are gathering places within most American homes….places where not only do we enjoy bringing forth amazing dishes to share, but places where the people gathered around the table are far more important than the food on the table. This page of the Uncommon Gardener is dedicated to those who have a heart to serve rather than those whose kitchen skills are undeniably beyond comparison. Sure, we may cultivate some amazing dishes that tempt our senses to new heights of desire. But my hope is that we learn to see our kitchens as a place of prayer, thanksgiving and love….a place where we might pour out our gift of hospitality and thus entertain those that God brings into our lives, be that our family, friends, neighbors or strangers.
Hebrews 13:1-2 – Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
See you in the heart of our home soon!
~Blessings,
Connie
