Seldom do we think of gardening in the Winter. But I am learning that every season has its merit. This Edgeworthia shrub is a winner for us. Those petit white flowers stay all winter long. In the Spring, they bear a lovely fragrance that wafts into the open window above. Summer dresses them in beautiful green leaves that provide shade for the ferns that are tucked closely underneath. And Fall colors the leaves a gorgeous gold color. But best of all? The deer will not touch it! And in our neck of the woods, that might just be the best news around!

Life in my garden will undoubtedly look entirely different than life in your garden. And that’s okay! This page is dedicated to those who simply love God’s green earth and the tending of it. There will be stories of whim, ideas for cultivating “yard art” from antique items, and of course we will tour some of my favorite garden spaces and the inspiration behind them. Perhaps you are as curious as I am about how to create things of beauty in your garden in every season. Then follow along with me as we explore together. I’m sure we will encourage and inspire each other along our journey. I can’t wait to get started!
~Blessings,
